Alsysco’s premium aluminium systems are designed and engineered locally, specifically for the harsh African environment. These systems consist of various components and parts that have been intentionally and methodically crafted by our team of experts, to result in the high-quality, safe and durable products utilised by our Accredited Fabricators.
Prior to launching a new system for residential and commercial use, the products undergo a certification process conducted by AAAMSA – The Association of Architectural Aluminium Manufacturers of South Africa.
AAAMSA tests the products at their testing chambers under SANS 613 regulations with an independent testing officer. The systems undergo various weather and force simulations to test their durability and safety.
Under SANS 613, systems are tested for:
- Water tightness
- Deflection
- Structural Strength
- Airtightness
- Product Operation
These tests are ranked by pressure (Pa) and certified accordingly:
A test report is generated with the successful certification that approves the use of the product for its intended application within standard building regulations. Understanding the product capabilities is vital for architects’ design vision, fabricator’s installation quality and homeowners’ performance expectations.
